About Us
Hi, I’m Len Davis a Seattle based 3 time Emmy nominated filmmaker and the owner of Loving Legacy Video. This project is really the culmination of 25 years of my interviewing and filming people about their lives, their experiences and their ideas.
In 1999 I bought my first video camera before embarking on a 100 day journey around the US at the turn of the millennium. And I’ve been engaging strangers and clients on camera for work and for play ever since.
Over the last 25 years my work has been broadcast on PBS and through other international channels, screened at film festivals around the world, streamed live online, and been seen in countless other outlets. I’ve been interviewing business owners, politicians, artists, activists, friends and strangers. I’ve also been helping people sell products, train employees, raise money, market their enterprise, and all around use video as an effective tool to communicate.
Along the way, my passion and skill has always been an easy connection with total strangers, getting them to share openly and joyfully on camera about who they are and what they think. And Loving Legacy Video was born from these experiences. I took the joy of interviewing and filming and put it to work in service of the universal desire to celebrate our parents and elders, and to help people to learn and better understand from whom and where they came.
Loving Legacy Video provides a unique modern heirloom, probing the question of How You Want to Be Remembered, and the telling of Stories That Matter From The People You Love. Our videos are far more about capturing the true essence of a person and who they are rather than typical answers to a collection of questions. I invite you to learn more about this unique approach and how I’m helping people to keep the voices of their loved ones alive.
